Purpose
A portable instrument for remote natural gas leak detection. An infrared laser beam measures the integrated methane concentration along the line between the instrument and the reflecting surface, while a visible red beam marks the measuring point. It allows inspection of hard-to-reach and potentially hazardous objects without contact with the gas cloud.

- Gas distribution networks: underground and above-ground pipelines, valves, flanged joints
- Industrial sites: compressor stations, pressure reducing stations, boiler houses, gas storage
- Residential buildings: stairwells, basements, checks through windows (the beam passes through glass)
- Environmental monitoring of methane emissions at landfills
